Here is a “HONDA CROSS CUB 110” custom by Webike community user “Pirozhki”. The owner wanted a fuel-efficient motorcycle for commuting to care for a parent who lives nearby. With a catalog fuel consumption rating exceeding 60 km/L, the Cross Cub 110 is an incredibly economical choice.
To match the bike’s green body, the owner personally painted several accessories in olive, including a ZETA Headlight Guard, the handlebar covers and fog lamp, KIJIMA Front Protector, a front basket that is actually for a bicycle, a HONDA Luggage Box, and a side-mounted ammo box. The black lettering on the rear box was created by spray painting over a stencil cut from thick paper. The steel luggage box suits the Cross Cub perfectly, but there is one drawback—the box sits too close to the seat, restricting body movement. Because of this, the owner feels that the bike isn’t quite ready for aggressive off-road riding with its current setup.
The fog lamp was added after realizing how dim the stock headlight was during nighttime rides. A friend of his installed a dual-lamp setup, but he opted for a single lamp, feeling that two would be excessive. While riding downhill on rough or uneven roads, the front fork easily bottoms out, so the owner recommends ensuring adequate clearance between the fog lamp and front fender.
He also considered installing wheel covers but decided to start with spoke wraps as a simpler modification. The wraps add a rugged touch to the wheels and complement the bike’s color scheme. While spoke wraps are great for covering rusted spokes, they can trap moisture on non-rusted ones. To prevent this, the owner applied a glass coating to all the spokes before installation.
