2026 Ford Ranger vs. Ford F-150 Specs
New Ford Ranger vs. F-150 Size Comparison
Out of our new inventory of Ford Trucks, the Ranger and F-150 are two of the closer models. However, since they belong to two size categories, there are substantial differences in dimensions – especially when you consider how the F-150 has many cabin and bed sizes.
The dimensions of the Ford Ranger stay fairly consistent across most configurations, with the range-topping Raptor model showcasing slightly different measurements. The first three trims in the lineup are 210.6 inches long, 74.4 inches tall, and 75.5 inches wide. Meanwhile, the Ranger Raptor is 210.9 inches long, 75.9 inches tall, and 79.8 inches wide. The general consistency is largely due to the fact that the new Ranger is available exclusively with the SuperCrew Cab and Short Bed layout.
On the other hand, the Ford F-150 dimensions vary considerably. For instance, its length ranges from 209.4 inches to 243.9 inches. This variety of sizes isn’t surprising, considering the truck is available with three different bed lengths, three cab styles, and eight trim levels.

2026 Ford Ranger vs. F-150 MPG Ratings
The 2026 F-150 earns great MPG ratings for its size, with its base 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 offering an EPA-estimated 19/25/21 MPG (City/Highway/Combined) in rear-wheel drive configurations.2 The optional 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 and 5.0-liter V-8 engines have slightly lower fuel economy, while the two Raptor engine options produce great power at some cost to efficiency.
However, the new Ford F-150 is also available with the full-hybrid PowerBoost V-6 setup. This powertrain yields an impressive EPA-estimated 22/24/23 MPG (City/Highway/Combined).2
While the F-150 is efficient, the Ford Ranger, in non-hybrid configurations, tends to be the more efficient of the two trucks. Its standard 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine earns a respectable EPA-estimated 21/25/23 MPG (City/Highway/Combined) in rear-wheel drive models.2 Both its available 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 and its optional 3.0-liter EcoBoost V-6 have competitive ratings, too.
